How we started

Our Story

I started SiteSkite out of pure necessity. As a UI/UX designer and developer, I was managing dozens of WordPress sites for clients. The work itself was fun — but the management? A daily headache. Too many logins, credentials scattered across Trello boards, backups to remember, plugins breaking, updates failing, servers complaining… and every tool I tried was either too limited or unnecessarily complicated.

I kept thinking, “Why isn’t there a simple, beautiful, powerful way to manage all my sites in one place?” So I decided to build it.

In 2021, I sketched the very first idea: a one-click template installer. What started as a small concept quickly grew into a full suite — from installation to site maintenance and everything in between. I built the first prototype alone. Then, slowly, the team formed — people who believed in the same vision: making website management effortless.

From that day until now, it’s been five years of continuous development. The journey has had its fair share of hiccups, but with the incredible SiteSkite team, we’ve only become stronger and better. Most of SiteSkite was shaped in quiet nights, long weekends, and countless rebuilds. I still remember coding with my newborn baby sleeping beside me, hoping that one day this tool would make life easier for freelancers, agencies, and teams just like mine.

Today, SiteSkite manages 100+ sites, sandbox environments, backups, security, and smart updates across multiple platforms — but the heart of the product hasn’t changed.

We’re improving it every day because thousands of others need it too. And this is just the beginning.
